Alpha collected Rs. 4 crore on its first Tuesday, registering a 15 per cent spike over Monday. It should have recorded a much better jump because of affordable ticket prices. However, word of mouth is not much in favor of the movie, which is why it is finding it difficult to find an audience.
The spy action drama took its 5-day theatrical run to Rs. 40.50 crore nett at the Indian box office. It is looking to close its first week around Rs. 46-48 crore nett, and then it will cross the Rs. 50 crore mark, possibly by its second Friday. The movie will face Dhamaal 4 in the second weekend, which will further dent its business. Let's see how far Alpha can go from there on.
