Actor Asin shared rare pictures of her daughter Arin from the family’s Onam celebrations, offering a glimpse into a private get-together at home.
The actor, known for her work across Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries and her Hindi film debut opposite actor Aamir Khan in Ghajini (2008), posted the pictures on social media.
In the photos shared on Asin's Instagram stories, Arin was seen in a traditional orange outfit with puffy sleeves.

Asin has rarely been in the spotlight since stepping away from cinema after her marriage in 2016. She has only occasionally shared glimpses of her daughter on social media.
Asin married Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in January 2016. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Arin, in October 2017. Following the birth of their daughter, the couple released an official statement, saying, "We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl. The last nine months have been most special and exciting for both of us, and we would like to thank all our well-wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support (sic)."
After her marriage, Asin decided to step away from the film industry. She was last seen in the 2015 comedy All Is Well, featuring actors Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, and Supriya Pathak. Apart from appearing in several South Indian films, Asin was also part of multiple mainstream Hindi films, including Ready (2011), Bol Bachchan (2012), and Housefull 2 (2012).
Asin's last Tamil theatrical release was the 2011 action comedy Kaavalan. The film also featured actor-turned-politician Vijay in the lead role. It was written and directed by Siddique.
