New Delhi, Sep 25In a bureaucratic reshuffle, state-run Airports Authority of India (AAI) Chairman Vipin Kumar has been shifted to the Department of Rural Development.
The ACC approved the appointment of Anand Singh, a 2000-batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre, as Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs.
Another shiftIn another shift, Sarita Chauhan Chand, Additional Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, has been appointed Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Steel.
According to the order, P. Hemalatha, Development Commissioner of the Cochin Special Economic Zone, will move to DoPT as Additional Secretary.
The ACC also approved the appointment of Indian Economic Service officer Manisha Sensarma as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

In a bureaucratic reshuffle, state-run Airports Authority of India (AAI) Chairman Vipin Kumar has been shifted to the Department of Rural Development.
Kumar, a 1996-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Bihar cadre, will now serve as Additional Secretary in the Department of Rural Development as part of a series of senior appointments approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
The order was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday.
Meanwhile, the order does not name his successor at AAI, which comes under the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
The ACC also approved the appointment of Director General of Hydrocarbons Srikant Nagulapalli as Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure under the Ministry of Finance.
Nagulapalli is a 1998-batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre.
The ACC appointed V. Ponnuraj, a 2000-batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre, as Director General of Hydrocarbons in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
The ACC approved the appointment of Anand Singh, a 2000-batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre, as Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs.

The ACC has shifted Piyush Singh, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Power. He has been appointed Mission Director of the National Water Mission under the Ministry of Jal Shakti.
Additionally, the order stated that Mandeep K. Bhandari has been appointed Chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education, while Ankita Mishra Bundela will move from the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare to the Department of Higher Education as Additional Secretary.
The ACC also approved the appointment of Indian Economic Service officer Manisha Sensarma as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
