Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri police on Monday detained eight persons in connection with the rape of a school student in Alwal.
The accused lured the girl with the help of her friend and violated her for the last three days.
Based on a complaint, the police registered a case against the accused.
In all, nine people were involved in the case.
Of them, eight of them were detained so far, the police said.
