So, it is safe to say that we would get to see the Skoda Superb arrive in the Indian market by this festive season.

40 Kmpl Skoda Launching Soon!
Still guessing? Well, the Skoda car we are talking about is none other than the Superb, the brand’s flagship SUV. Still wondering how the Superb delivered 40 kmpl mileage? The World Rally Champion 2025, Miko Marczyk, decided to take things easy and take a 2831km road trip across the European roads in a Skoda Superb diesel. And across this long journey, the Superb diesel was able to deliver an average fuel efficiency of 40 kmpl, thanks to a well-maintained 80 kmph average speed and driving in Eco mode. Nevertheless, that’s not really the exciting part.
The Skoda Superb has been one of the most desired sedans in India, popular for the comfort and luxury on offer. And at the Skoda Experience 2026, the brand director of Skoda, Ashish Gupta, mentioned that the brand will bring in three global products this year, the Octavia RS (second batch), the Kodiaq RS and a “premium sedan”. The premium sedan we believe is the much-awaited Superb, which was last showcased at the Auto Expo 2025. So, it is safe to say that we would get to see the Skoda Superb arrive in the Indian market by this festive season. That said, let’s take a look at what the Superb has to offer!

Skoda Superb – What To Expect?
At the Auto Expo 2025, Skoda showcased a diesel AWD version of the Superb, and it is likely that the same version will make it to the Indian shores. The premium sedan will likely get a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 150bhp and 360Nm of torque, along with a 7-speed DSG and AWD. Bear in mind, this is the same engine that was able to deliver 40 kmpl mileage. On the contrary, Skoda may also offer a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 204bhp and 320Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG, as seen in the Kodiaq.

We expect the Superb to get a slew of features like a 13-inch touchscreen, powered, ventilated, and massaging front seats, level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a 10-inch instrument cluster, and more. Considering the Superb will be brought in through the CBU route, we can expect it to be priced around Rs 60 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
