Spy shots have been surfacing from time to time, suggesting that testing is going on in full swing.
When launched, Mahindra BE 7 will be India’s first mainstream vehicle to offer frameless doors which lend a unique aesthetic (confirmed by previous spy shots).
The latest spy shots show two BE 7 test mules wrapped in different camouflages spied testing together.
LED headlights and LED DRL signature at the front could be finalized, but there’s a small probability of them being temporary as well.
Remember the time we all thought Vision S will get circular LED headlights from Roxx?
While XEV lineup has been expanded into a two vehicle lineup, BE lineup is still a one horse chariot. Mahindra seems to be fixing that with a second notch in the BE belt in the form of BE 7 (or BE 07 or whatever Mahindra deems fit at launch time). Spy shots have been surfacing from time to time, suggesting that testing is going on in full swing.

2 Mahindra BE 7 Spied Together
Looking at the condition of these test mules, we would say that launch is still some time away. We say this because the lighting still does not seem to be finalized as rear tail lights are temporary makeshift ones. Looking at the BE 07 concept, we can expect vertically massive C-shaped LED tail light signature which may not connect in the middle.
LED headlights and LED DRL signature at the front could be finalized, but there’s a small probability of them being temporary as well. Remember the time we all thought Vision S will get circular LED headlights from Roxx? What’s likely to stay put, is the silhouette. If BE 6 is anything to go by, Mahindra will stay true to BE 07 concept with the production version.
We can see a strong silhouette with angular lines and sharp edges for an edgy appearance. Mahindra BE 7 will get bold proportions which will radiate a dominating presence on the road. As seen in the spy shots, we can see that LED headlights are not just sleek, but they extend downwards at the end, just like in the concept.
The element that goes downward is likely to be fog lights along with cornering lights. Massive C-shaped LED DRLs will engulf these headlight assemblies. Other notable elements include flush door handles, thick C Pillars, wide haunches, geometrical wheel arch claddings, roof rails and more. Wheels look like they’re similar to the ones seen in XEV 9e.
Interiors Spied, Gets Triple Screens
On the inside, upcoming Mahindra BE 7 will not get a physical split between driver and co-driver. It will get Mahindra’s triple screen layout with three 12.3-inch displays end-to-end. Steering wheel looks similar to other Mahindra EVs. So, steering-mounted touch controls are likely. There are no physical buttons on the centre console to operate AC and media.
Gear selector may be toggle-style and below it will be a touch-based start button, key slot and more. Features and equipment like ADAS, Harman audio, self park, Adrenox UI with computing might be similar to other Electric Origin EVs. Powertrains too, might be similar – 65 kWh and a 75 kWh with 500+ km real world range promise and RWD as standard.
