For the past few years, Mahindra has used 14th August to introduce a major new product, and this year the spotlight is likely to be on the updated Scorpio N. Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to make its debut on 14th August 2026, and the latest spy images now give us our clearest look yet at its production-ready cabin.
Larger Touchscreen, Digital Instrument Cluster
While exterior changes are expected to be relatively evolutionary, Mahindra seems to have focused more attention on upgrading Scorpio N’s cabin and equipment list. The most noticeable change is the new, larger freestanding infotainment touchscreen. Going by the layout seen in these images, Scorpio N facelift appears to borrow heavily from Thar Roxx.
Thar Roxx uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display, and Scorpio N facelift now appears to get a similar setup. This is a significant upgrade over the smaller touchscreen and semi-digital instrument cluster offered with the current Scorpio N. The new digital instrument display can also be clearly seen in the spy images, showing a redesigned interface with vehicle and driver information.
Mahindra has retained physical controls for important functions, which should make the cabin easy to operate while driving. However, the switchgear below the climate control panel has been redesigned. The new toggle-style buttons once again look similar to those used on Thar Roxx. Dual-zone climate control continues, while the centre console retains a familiar layout with the gear lever, cupholders and electronic parking brake.
More Features Expected
Previous Scorpio N facelift test mules have already indicated that Mahindra is preparing a broader feature upgrade. A panoramic sunroof is expected to be one of the major additions, replacing the smaller sunroof currently available.
Other expected features include a 360-degree camera system, upgraded audio, ventilated seats and additional connected-car functionality. Level 2 ADAS is also expected on higher variants. The latest interior images suggest Mahindra is concentrating on bringing Scorpio N closer to newer models such as Thar Roxx and XUV7XO in terms of cabin technology.

Engines Likely To Continue
Major mechanical changes are not expected. Scorpio N facelift should continue with the existing 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, with manual and torque converter automatic gearbox options. Four-wheel-drive variants are also expected to continue. It remains to be seen whether Mahindra introduces any changes to the diesel engine’s output with the facelift. Price is expected to remain similar to the current one. Scorpio range is Mahindra’s top seller. With the arrival of facelift, Mahindra could see even higher sales.
